This is a key expectation of all our Business Partners as we aim to be proactive, strategic contributors to our clients success.This position requires someone who can manage their time effectively while working from home but is also prepared to be on-site at dealerships weeklyor as often as required.Specific Responsibilities:Depending on the project, the HR Business Partner responsibilities include:End-to-end recruitment within the dealership and work with the recruitment coordinator and managers closely to determine recruitment needs and strategy.Organizing and conducting employee orientations and managing progress.Managing and resolving employee issues and address grievances by conducting effective, thorough investigations and documentation.Preparing correspondence, employment letters and other employment documentation as required.Administering benefits and other employee perks as required.Providing performance management guidance to managers and employees (e.g., coaching, career development, disciplinary actions etc.).Being a trusted advisor to the management team on all aspects of human resources including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, employee development.Managing the digital Employee Handbook ensuring all policies and procedures are read and understood by employees and managers. The HR Business Partner will also ensure the handbook is updated.Facilitating exit interview and focus groups to gather feedback from employees as required.Presenting to the Managers and/or key stakeholders on various topics including HR KPIs.Skills and Competencies:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Able to communicate and deliver as per deadlines set.Able to multitask and manage time effectively.Able to take initiative and find areas of opportunity.Organized and meticulous attention to detail.Ability to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.Comfortable giving presentations and can impact and influence others.Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.Tech savvy with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and with experience in working within a HRIS software.Education and Experience:3-5 years of progressive HR experience in multiple HR functions (recruiting, employee relations, performance management, training, employee development, etc.).Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.CHRP or equivalent.Experience in employee relations in a unionized and non-unionized environment along with conflict resolution skills is an asset.Experience partnering with business leaders on developing and driving initiatives.High level of interpersonal and leadership skills; must be able to influence and coach across multiple levels within the company and locations.Proven decision making and critical thinking skills.A positive, problem-solving attitude.Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.Must be licensed and have access to a vehicle for travel to clients as necessaryWorking hours may not always fall into the regular nine to five patterns, so a willingness to be flexible and go above and beyond to meet client expectations will be required.The Minery Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
