Job DescriptionThe Preservation Coordinator has developed advanced and specialized expertise within an analytical/scientific area to perform the most complex Commissioning-specific work and is knowledgeable of other disciplines. They can identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness.Job OverviewThe Preservation Coordinator impacts the level of service and the team's ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. They supervise technical employees and are accountable for the team's results within the Commissioning discipline. The Preservation Coordinator adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Their decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plans, as well as guidance from Management.Min Salary: 106,000 CAD Max Salary: 133,000 CADKey Tasks and ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage commissioning technicians in the EPCI industry to ensure compliance with project schedules and quality standardsConduct technical reviews, oversee commissioning, testing, and inspection activities, and troubleshoot equipment or system malfunctionsCoordinate with stakeholders including engineering, procurement, and construction teams, to plan and execute commissioning activities safely, effectively and efficientlyDevelop commissioning procedures and documentation, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practicesProvide technical support to the project team throughout the commissioning phase and assist with the delivery of final project handoverOwn and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teamsEssential Qualifications and EducationDegree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar field)5+ years of demonstrated experience in commissioning supervision in the EPCI industryStrong knowledge of commissioning processes and procedures, including experience in managing commissioning work packs from initiation to handoverFamiliarity with industry regulations, standards, and codes applicable to commissioning activitiesExcellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environmentProficient in software suites such as MS Office, AutoCAD, and commissioning management software toolsAbout UsOur ingenuity fuels daily life.
