Your Responsibilities as a Professional Handyman Completing maintenance and repair jobs for residential and commercial customers, ranging from two hours to three days. Communicating with customers to explain the work needed, scope, and costs. Delivering a great customer experience by following the Mr. Handyman Way, a repeatable process designed to impress every customer. How Well Measure Performance Quality of Work - We guarantee all our work for one year. It must be done correctly the first time. Customer Satisfaction - We track satisfaction through follow-up surveys. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience. Efficiency - Completing jobs on time and within budget is critical. To Succeed in this Role, you''ll need to Self-management skills, as you''ll often work independently. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers. Your own tools necessary for the jobs. Job Requirements 10+ years of experience working with paying customers. Problem-solving skills with the ability to provide realistic solutions. Own your tools. Insurable to drive our vehicle. Willing to complete a background check. Ability to work safely following WorkSafe BC guidelines. Ability to lift 22 kilograms independently. As an experienced Handyman, you should have proficiency in: Carpentry Painting Drywall repair/installation Tiling Flooring Appliance installations Bathroom and kitchen repairs Fence repair/installation Deck repair/installation Cement/concrete/asphalt works Non-licensed plumbing and electrical works Benefits and Pay We offer above-average wages based on billable hours.
