Key Responsibilities Assist the Pharmacy Manager in the day-to-day management of workload; Collaborate with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants to fulfill prescription orders; Work in a Remote Dispensary Location (RDL) collaborating with pharmacists at the main pharmacy; Assist patients in securing insurance coverage for their specialty medication; Work collaboratively with Patient Support Programs; Work independently on labeling and filling/refilling prescriptions; Perform an independent technical check for prescription release; Maintain inventory management controls and recall documentation. You will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing billings, claims, disbursements, and related documents; supporting GMP and Quality Control; entering prescriptions into the computer; retrieving and/or correcting data in the computer; screening calls and gathering relevant information for the pharmacist; packing and shipping prescription orders; This role requires a Registered Pharmacy Technician License with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and at least one year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
