Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules of various levels to support the successful execution and delivery of a diverse project portfolio. As a key member of the project team, you will work closely with various stakeholders, such as managers, supervisors, project managers, vendors and our clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while contributing to overall planning, coordination, and performance tracking efforts.Key Responsibilities: Create and manage detailed project schedules of various levels using Primavera P6 software. Regularly update and track project schedules, adjusting for progress and changes. Analyze critical paths, resource allocations, and potential impacts to the schedule. Develop and present dashboard reports to stakeholders and senior management. Collaborate with project teams to gather status updates and adjust schedules as needed. Prepare and deliver schedule reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to stakeholders. Resource and cost loading of project schedules and tracking their variances. Identify potential schedule risks and develop strategies for mitigation. Assist with project controls, including cost management and resource planning. Maintain accurate schedule documentation. Ensure adherence to company standards, contract specifications, and industry best practices.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with sufficient experience). 3+ years of experience scheduling projects using Primavera P6. Power business intelligence (Power BI) experience an asset. Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling techniques, Schedule Performance Index (SPI), cost performance index (CPI), and Earned Value Management (EVM). Experience in industrial electrical and electrical engineering disciplines would be an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
