Role Overview The Assistant Showroom Sales Manager plays a critical support role within their flagship showroom. You will help oversee day-to-day operations, ensure smooth client experiences, support showroom staff, and assist in maintaining workflow between the sales, warehouse, and purchasing teams. This is a hands-on, multi-functional position requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities Daily Respond to and triage incoming showroom and shared inbox emails Process online payments, issue refunds, and distribute Moneris receipts to team Assist with scheduling daily warehouse pickups and deliveries Confirm next-day delivery appointments and ensure staff follow-up Answer showroom calls and assist on the floor as needed Open/close the showroom and handle walk-in or escalated customer concerns Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding packing slips, deliveries, and general logistics Monitor open orders, pending payments, and assist in updating the team Support showroom staff with overflow emails or administrative tasks Provide support for Schluter and installation-related customer inquiries Weekly / Biweekly Follow up on open quotes, sample sign-outs, and pending sales orders Attend weekly meetings with management to review sales performance, staffing, and stock Confirm Saturday scheduling with warehouse manager Remind team to restock sample libraries Review and inquire on any outstanding order payments Provide mid-month and end-of-month sales updates to staff Monthly Review and help manage showroom sample sign-outs and staff reporting accuracy Analyze Schluter stock and coordinate with purchasing once order thresholds are met Support showroom meetings, schedule updates, and respond to online reviews Assist in clearing outdated displays or zero-stock SKUs Help coordinate product knowledge sessions with vendor reps Quarterly / Seasonal / Miscellaneous Help prepare trade commission submissions Rotate and restock showroom displays and supplies Assist with seasonal planning (planters, mats, holiday decor, etc.) Participate in manager meetings every 3 weeks Cover A&D or showroom emails during vacation coverage Support receiving containers and filing warehouse documentation as needed Requirements Previous experience in a tile/stone showroom or similar design-focused retail setting strongly preferred Strong organizational skills and comfort managing shared responsibilities across departments Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and support a dynamic sales team Proficiency in email communication, scheduling, and customer service best practices A positive, solution-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Compensation & Schedule Competitive salary range Full-time, in-person role at our North York location Some Saturday availability may be required based on staffing
