Youll be responsible for ensuring properties are well-maintained, tenants are supported, finances are managed efficiently, and staff are empowered to succeed. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance of operational know-how and people skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProperty & Operations ManagementOversee the daily operations of multi-residential properties, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-maintainedManage maintenance issues in collaboration with internal teams and external vendorsEnsure units are rent-ready and minimize vacancy times through efficient leasing practicesConduct regular property inspections and identify improvement opportunitiesMonitor and maintain compliance with all building codes and safety standardsTeam Leadership & Customer ServiceLead, mentor, and support on-site property staff to foster a positive team environmentDeliver exceptional service to residents, resolving concerns with professionalism and carePromote employee development through ongoing coaching and recognitionFinancial OversightDevelop, manage, and monitor property budgetsPrepare and analyze financial reports using Yardi softwareOversee rent collection processes and address arrears efficientlyVendor & Contract ManagementEstablish and maintain strong relationships with contractors and service providersApprove work orders, invoices, and service agreementsEnsure services are cost-effective and meet quality expectationsCompliance & AdministrationStay up to date with relevant safety, labor, and housing regulationsMaintain accurate property, staff, and tenant recordsContribute to the successful launch and onboarding of new residential propertiesWhat You Bring to the Role5+ years of experience managing multiple residential propertiesProven leadership experience in a fast-paced property management settingFamiliarity with building systems such as HVAC, heating, sprinklers, and building envelopesStrong budgeting, financial reporting, and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Yardi experience is an assetExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesValid drivers license and reliable vehicle requiredBe a Part of Our Future At Universal Realty Group, your work matters.
