Together, we are EXP.Are you ready to design your future?Be our next Project Manager, Environmental!Your work environment at EXPEXP is currently searching for a Project Manager to work in stunning Eastern Ontario with an opportunity to work from our Ottawa ON office depending on your preference. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter with 5 years of experience in environmental site assessment and consulting services. Participating in a team of environmental professionals and reporting to various Project Managers, this person will be responsible for a broad range of tasks.What a day at EXP has in store for youOverseeing the planning and execution of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), excess soil, remediation projects, and related environmental studiesProposal preparation, budget tracking, cost control and invoicingLiaising with contractors and clientsApproximately 30% field work i.e. Phase 1 Site AssessmentsEvaluating data and proposing solutionsPreparing technical reports and reviewing technical work of other staffTraining and mentoring junior staffGaining and sharing knowledge through participation in technical societies and/or attendance at internal and external programs; to a degree consistent with individual and business sector goalsNurturing strong client relationships and having an opportunity to participate in business development activitiesAdvancing the growth of your professional careerWhat your experience looks like5 years of consulting experience in environmental site assessments, soil management and/or remediation.University degree in a related field of study such as Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology or Geology.Licensure or potential for licensure for P.Eng. or P.Geo. license in Ontario (or equivalent designation from another Province or the US).Experience conducting Phase I and II ESAs, remediation programs, excess soil management plans, remediation design and/or hydrogeology.Understanding of the applicable provincial and federal legislation and guidance documents.Experience in budget management, report preparation, and client relationship management.A motivated, self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.Strong organizational and time management skills as well as attention to detail.Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as advanced technical writing abilities.A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.Must be comfortable in the field on construction/environmental project sites.Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and put forth creative solutions.Ability to converse and/or write in French is an asset.#LI-AO1EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
