Our client is a small engineering consulting firm based in Kamloops that specializes in wastewater consulting. We are looking for a professional to join their team with experience in wastewater consulting and design. This is an opportunity to join a small team of professionals that value high quality engineering work, delivering value to clients and finding the right balance of work/life, living in beautiful Kamloops, BC. Our client is willing to relocate the right individual to their city for the position.Candidates with a professional designation (P.Geo, P.Eng or P.Ag), an interest in groundwater and wastewater consulting, and 2-5 years of experience in wastewater consulting are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:Project management of wastewater projects in both private and public settings.Perform technical research related to projects.Act as a subject matter expert on wastewater treatment process analysis (biological, mechanical and chemical).Direct the work of drafters and designers while mentoring and coaching.Perform onsite wastewater disposal system investigations.Design wastewater systems.Qualifications:A current designation of P.Geo, P.Ag or P.Eng ,preferably in BC.Experience in project management.A minimum of 2-5 years of experience with wastewater consulting.Aptitude in onsite wastewater disposal system investigations and design.General understanding of hydrogeology, environmental sciences and treated wastewater studies.Experience in well water drilling and rehabilitation programs, pumping tests, slug tests and water sampling is considered an asset.ROWP designation is considered a major asset but not required.Valid drivers license.Willing to re-locate to Kamloops, BC.
