Role Description: Manage day to day production support issues Responsible for change management activities in test and production environments, including deployment of code, while adhering to source code management and release management policies Maintain health and safety of production systems and applications. Identify risks and risk mitigation opportunities. Improve existing application instrumentation and monitoring. Work with development teams and business partners to provide input on best mix of development, interfacing applications, and third-party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives in an agile environment. Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, management, stakeholders, infrastructure teams and interface groups using a variety of techniques and collaboration from start to finish Build knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business, and information systems Provide coaching, expertise, and feedback to build the capability of the team Involved in occasional weekend and after-hours supportRequired Skill Set: Experience with troubleshooting application and database issues by leveraging tools such as Dynatrace/Aternity/OEM in a AIX/Linux environment Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft C#, ASP.Net, SQL, PL/SQL programming Strong knowledge Linux/Unix operating systems Experience with automation of routine database/infrastructure administration tasks Oracle database architecture, database performance monitoring and SQL tuning Proficiency with cloud hosted applications, Microsoft Azure, OCP Proficiency with Windows Server operating systems and IIS DEVOPs and SRE experience (Jenkins, Ansible etc..)
