FCC Canada excels in civil works such as roads, railways, maritime construction, tunnels, bridges, and subway projects.About the ProjectCross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is a Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas Canada Ltd., Pomerleau BC Inc. and Arcadis Canada Inc. general partnership that has been selected to collaboratively deliver a new, eight-lane immersed tube tunnel that will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99. The new tunnel will have three vehicle lanes and a dedicated transit lane in each direction, with a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians.Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and maintaining detailed resource- and cost-loaded construction schedules for heavy civil construction projects.Working with project teams to provide input for baseline schedule and monthly updates, while also maintaining open communication with them when delivery schedules change to allow them to manage their time more effectively.Incorporating scope changes to the schedule.Preparing schedule updates/revisions as well as monthly progress reports.Monitoring project progress against baseline and providing delay and time impact analyses.Supporting project teams with planning and scheduling during preconstruction, design, construction support, and construction phases.Working with the Virtual Design team to develop 4D schedules.May assist in leading junior staff through assignment tasks.Reviewing purchase orders and subcontract schedule status and providing management with input on subcontract performance.Responsible for assembling data for schedule updating.Conducting and assisting in performance measurement and associated schedule trends.Providing analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.Assisting in procedure development and implementation.Updating and producing scheduling management reports.Performing remedial schedule risk analysis.Assisting in tracking corrective actions.Education and qualifications:1-7 years experience in schedulingCivil, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial EngineerPrimavera experienceConstruction ExperienceProject work would be an assetExcellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of the organization.Why You Should ApplyOpportunity to work on an iconic infrastructure project in a professional and dynamic team of Canadian and international leaders in the field.Up to 5% RRSP matchingCareer Advancement, training and education opportunitiesTravel allowanceFour weeks vacationThe expected salary range for this opportunity is $100,000 - $140,000.
