About Us BMA Conventions is a growing force in the international conventions and conferences industry, with a focus on healthcare, tech, and infrastructure. Our team is known for delivering high-impact global events and were expanding operations at our North Bay, Ontario office. Were currently hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our growing team.Job Summary This role is ideal for someone who is organized, resourceful, and interested in contributing to high-level operations while gaining valuable exposure to international event planning. The position requires occasional travel, both within Canada and to the United States or other countries where our conventions are hosted.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide daily administrative support to the executive and events teamManage scheduling, internal communications, and office operationsCoordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and visa applications for staff and event guestsAssist with event preparation, registration support, and vendor coordinationDraft reports, presentations, and meeting notesMaintain records and manage CRM/database systemsSupport on-site logistics during conventions and conferences (travel required)Handle email and phone communications with professionalismRequirements and QualificationsMust be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent ResidentMust be legally eligible and willing to travel to the United States and internationally12 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration toolsComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentDiploma or degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferredFlexibility to work extended hours during peak event periodsCompensation and BenefitsHourly wage: $18$21/hour (based on experience and qualifications)Estimated annual salary: $37,440$43,680 CADPaid vacation and statutory holidays as per Ontario Employment StandardsTravel opportunities with all work-related travel expenses coveredCareer growth potential within a rapidly expanding companyValuable exposure to global events, planning, and logisticsWork ScheduleMonday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (on-site)Occasional flexibility required around major events or travelHow to Apply If you're ready to grow your career with a global-facing organization and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic event environment, wed love to hear from you.
