Position: Director, Business IntegrationLocation: Markham, ONStructure: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days work from home), full-time employee opportunitySummary:The Director, Business Integration is responsible for developing and stewarding both IT strategy and IT governance across Black & McDonald's (B&M's) regions while simultaneously executing an IT service delivery model to meet the unique technological and digital needs of the entire B & M team. The Director will work in tandem with key stakeholders to develop and deliver secure, enhanced, and coordinated information technology systems and services in partnership with leaders and IT personnel from all academic and administrative areas.In this role you will:Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap to increase our reliability, agility, and security while reducing complexity and maintenance burden. Lead the development of IT infrastructure, support, and telecom strategies in collaboration with other peer stakeholders. Create and maintain the overall Production Support Strategy roadmap including team structure, tracking, and metrics.Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure procurement and implementation effortsResponsible for the successful delivery of applications & operations initiatives on schedule and budget with high quality. Ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services and able to respond with agility to changing business prioritiesPrepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for projects and associated efforts.Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure products and services. Dealing with, negotiating, and managing Vendor relationships within an Enterprise environment.Identification and implementation of cost optimization opportunities leveraging our scale.Lead the Application Support team to work with solution and managed service partners to resolve AMS issues, review and assess SLAs, prioritize incident resolution, & assess managed services performance deliveryManage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all systems and applications.Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences:Technical:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related mix of College training and work experienceProven track record of developing IT policies and proceduresExperience in successfully implementing major technology initiatives in a dynamic environment.Knowledge of Microsoft CRM/Dynamics365 platforms5+ years' experience working within the ITIL Frameworks and/or leading a Tools, Automation, and/or process team.Strong awareness and experience in IT audit and compliance management (SOC, COBIT, SSAE).The ideal candidate has 15+ years of progressive experience in a senior IT leadership position, ideally embedded in a large and complex organizationExperience managing cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)Other SkillsSuperior leadership competencies to lead a diverse group of Managers and IT SpecialistsStrong communication skills in order develop collaborative relationships with a diverse group of constituentsAbility to translate overall goals and strategic objectives into operational plans and ensure executionA change agent; consultative in approach and able to develop solutionsPersuasive communicator and skilled listener.Able to drive change through influencing cross-functional groups and stakeholders.Fiscally responsible with experience in managing budgets, vendor negotiations, and streamlining servicesDemonstrated ability to improve overall service levels and manage a supporting scorecard with key metricsBlack & McDonald welcomes and encourages applications from persons with disabilities.Accessibility accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the recruitment and selection process.#LI-CO1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
