OverviewWe are currently seeking a heavy duty mechanic for a small and growing team.The successful candidate will have a versatile background working on a variety of construction, compact, aerial, small and large heavy equipment.The opportunity is a good fit for a person who can apply well-honed troubleshooting, repair, diagnostic skills and share their knowledge as a mentor with 2 other junior technicians.The position is full-time, with overtime encouraged. The schedule is a typical day shift and offers the unique opportunity for a long weekend every 2 weeks, alternating between Mon-Fri and either Mon-Thur or Tues-Fri each week.A great opportunity to enjoy the fantastic lifestyle of the Sea to Sky corridor, and work with a successful company in a positive work environment.Compensation will depend on relevant experience and fit for the opportunity, up to $55 per hour for red seal certified heavy equipment technician.
