Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Human Rights Specialist to join our team and contribute to promoting human rights in Honduras. ''> About the Placement This placement is located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and will focus on training executives, staff, and employees of ANDI members on human rights. The volunteer will work closely with the Human Rights and Gender Industrial committees to create and execute an action plan. ''> Key Responsibilities ''> Coordinate with the Human Rights and Gender Industrial committees to develop and implement a comprehensive action plan for human rights training. ''> Facilitate trainings and provide support materials to ensure the success of the project. ''> Support actions aimed at promoting and disseminating the activities carried out by the Industrial Human Rights Committee and its member companies. ''> Collaborate with other HR initiatives executed by ANDI and Cuso International. ''> Requirements ''> University degree in social science, international development, or equivalent experience in a related field. ''> Knowledge of human rights issues and experience working with private sector organizations. ''> Practical research experience with various stakeholders, including CSOs, MSMEs, NGOs, local and national government. ''> Understanding of inclusive participatory approaches and gender-sensitive methods. ''> Demonstrated experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. ''> Obtain a satisfactory police check. ''> Complete a medical exam and be medically cleared before your departure.
