Job Title: Construction Superintendent Location: Guelph, ON and Surrounding Areas Salary: $100,000 $120,000 per year Benefits: RRSP matching up to 5%, 4 weeks vacation, full insurance package, mileage reimbursement About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to join our clients team and oversee ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) construction projects across Guelph and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing full project life cycles, from pre-construction through to final handover. This role requires someone with excellent site management skills, a solid understanding of Canadian construction standards, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple ICI construction projects Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery Oversee site safety protocols and ensure compliance with all local regulations and company standards Monitor schedules, budgets, and quality control throughout the construction lifecycle Conduct regular site inspections and maintain detailed project documentation Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site issues and conflict resolution Work closely with the project management team to maintain alignment on project goals and timelines Travel between sites as required (mileage covered) Requirements: Minimum 7+ years of experience in the Canadian construction industry, with a focus on ICI projects Proven track record of managing full life cycle construction projects Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Valid drivers license and willingness to travel between sites regularly Working knowledge of construction software is an asset What On Offer: Competitive salary in the range of $100,000 $120,000 RRSP matching program (up to 5%) 4 weeks paid vacation Full insurance package (health, dental, vision, etc.) Mileage reimbursement for site travel
