Construction Development ManagerRomspen is a leading Canadian non-bank mortgage lender specializing in commercial and industrial real estate mortgages. Over the past 25 years we have invested over $8 billion in over 1000 real estate mortgages and have consistently earned strong absolute cash yields to investors.The Romspen Development Group is a team of professionals who manage a full-service real estate platform that has a mix of construction projects across Canada and the US. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Development Manager to join our team.The Construction Development Manager will support senior team members in various aspects of construction project management, from planning to execution. They will work closely with internal and external partners to move the project along, resolve problems, adhere to budgetary plans, and mitigate risks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in construction and real estate development.ResponsibilitiesAssist senior team with research, business planning, financial analysis, and project coordination.Support the development approval process and construction coordination.Provide policy, analytical, and strategic support to the management team.Help prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets.Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and government authorities.Monitor project progress and report on key milestones.Assist in the procurement of design consultants and manage project documentation.Qualifications Post secondary degree in Construction Management, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.At least three years of relevant experience in project management or a related role.Experience in the commercial or residential real estate sector.Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office suite.Yardi experience an asset.Strong analytical skills and business acumen.Knowledge of regulatory and planning processes, construction methodologies, and financial management.Excellent communication, management, and organizational skills.
