CHRIS Air Conditioning is looking for a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician (3rd/4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman) to join our growing team as we continue to provide commercial HVAC&R solutions throughout the Lower Mainland. What you do Conduct maintenance, service and installation of HVAC and refrigeration equipment Complete work reports in a detailed and timely manner Provide on-the-job updates to the operations manager as necessary Work with HVAC suppliers to obtain parts and material crucial to job completion Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently Maintain service van inventory and organization Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers'' requirements What you bring Technical knowledge of commercial HVAC & refrigeration systems, repair, installation, and maintenance Practical experience in working with small, medium and large commercial buildings Good analytical skills and attention to detail is required Ability to work both under supervision and independently Personal hand tools and steel toe boots Class 5 licence and clean drivers abstract Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed expectations An enthusiastic approach to learning Strong verbal and written communication skills Must be a registered apprentice with the ITA Must hold a Certificate of Qualification (if applying as a journeyman) What we provide Competitive industry wage, based on experience State of the art company tools and fully-equipped service van Technical direction and on-the-job training A highly supportive, passionate team that is committed to growth and development Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Work Location: On the road
