Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a fulltime/perm Assistant Quality Manager to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems and processes. Location: Belleville, Ontario - on site Key Responsibilities Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control systems and documentation. Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards. Conduct internal audits and inspections; assist in external audit preparation. Investigate quality issues and non-conformances; support root cause analysis and corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements. Prepare quality metrics and reports for internal stakeholders. Assist in delivering training on quality standards, systems, and best practices. Support supplier quality management including audits, assessments, and incoming inspection. Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the plant. Qualifications 13 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred). Technologist/Technician Diploma in Engineering (required). Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) designation is an asset. Proficient in quality management systems, metrology, inspection techniques, and quality tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
