Overview One of our major clients is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer with proven experience in Honeywell Experion PKS and Omron CX-One/CX-Programmer environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on automation professional familiar with legacy system migrations, PLC/DCS integration, and industrial control systems in the oil and gas or heavy process industries. Key Responsibilities - Lead or support the implementation and maintenance of Honeywell Experion PKS systems - Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Omron CX-One tools (CX-Programmer, CX-Integrator, etc.) - Manage system upgrades and migrations from legacy PLC/HMI platforms to modern DCS solutions - Collaborate with operations, instrumentation, and process teams to ensure control system reliability - Document and support loop testing, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities Qualifications - 10+ years in industrial automation or control systems - Hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion PKS (design, configuration, commissioning) - Proficiency with Omron CX-One software suite - Background in oil & gas, petrochemical, or process industries strongly preferred - Strong understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC) - Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills - Experience with system migrations or integration projects are a plus. - Familiarity with safety systems (SIS), alarm management, or cybersecurity standards is considered an asset.
