Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in driving sales and customer satisfaction for our organization. Responsibilities include: Responding to all customer communications regarding orders, ensuring timely resolution and clear understanding of customer needs Providing technical and product information to customers, preparing quotations, and submitting them for approval Following up on customer inquiries, updating Customer Information Database (CID) notes, and inputting sales orders Coordinating delivery dates, special packing requirements, and documentation for shipped orders Purchasing materials required to satisfy customer orders and expediting logistics as needed Reviewing open orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and informing customers of changes Maintaining up-to-date customer information and providing support to outside sales representatives on customer inquiries Assisting in sourcing and securing material for special orders and initiating billing adjustments for invoice changes Qualifications: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Inside Sales, preferably with a distributor/manufacturer where SKU management is intensive Sales Performance and Customer Satisfaction: The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for maintaining relationships with customers, resolving issues efficiently, and meeting sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
