About the Role: We are seeking an Audit Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for interacting closely with business leaders to understand, assess and substantively test processes and operations as it relates to key areas of risk. About the Opportunity: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expertise in planning and executing end-to-end audits based on established audit plans in alignment with applicable policies and regulatory guidelines. About You: To be considered for this role, you will need over 5 years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree. Relevant professional certifications, accounting designations, knowledge/experience in Liquidity, Capital/Market risk, hands-on knowledge of MS Office and Internet applications are all highly valued. Responsibilities: Provide expertise in planning and executing end-to-end audits based on established audit plans in alignment with applicable policies and regulatory guidelines. Lead the planning process for assigned audits while ensuring the completion of appropriate programs and risk assessment to mitigate risks and improve effectiveness across the business. Support the audit opinion as per internal controls and professional audit standards to present the findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Manage follow-ups on new findings raised from regulatory and internal divisional audits to ensure all data is up-to-date and properly documented. Review and identify failures in internal processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiencies. Stay knowledgeable about emerging trends and developments related to business, analytical tools and techniques to deliver quality results within tight timeframes. Act with the highest levels of integrity while observing regulatory guidelines and handling confidential information with discretion. Build a fair and positive work environment where team members can openly report challenges and exchange ideas, knowledge and skills. Key Qualifications: Over 5 years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree. Relevant professional certifications, accounting designations (FRM and/or CFA is a strong asset). Knowledge/experience in Liquidity, Capital/Market risk an asset. Hands-on knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook) and Internet applications. Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment. What We Offer: A competitive salary range of $95,000 - $100,000/year.
