These contributions will impact product at major scale. In additional to superior technical acumen, the successful architect will also posses excellent business acumen for cultivating alignment, setting strategic direction, working through deep technical barriers and keeping executive leadership informed. You will have access to key customers and help Oracle determine where to invest resources in delivery of innovation to the flagship database product Responsibilities As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Suggest and justify product directions within approved directions. Define responsibilities for new projects and specifies, designs and develops software according to those specifications. Provide consultative software guidance and strategic direction associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $116,400 - $254,300 per year. US: Hiring Range in USD from: $161,700 - $338,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
