If acronyms like SBIR, BVLOS, and OTA dont scare you, keep reading. What Youll Do: Command FAA certifications and BVLOS rulemaking submissions. Lead Blue UAS certification strategy and documentation. Navigate Canadian drone regulations, NRC grants, and Transport Canada programs. Own grant hunting: SBIR/STTR, NRC-IRAP, ISED, DoDif it funds drones, you''''re on it. Drive federal and NATO-aligned proposal submissions on SAM.gov and Buyandsell.gc.ca. Collaborate with legal, engineering, and external advisors to stay bulletproof on compliance. Track regulatory shifts, defense procurement changes, and EO impacts across the U.S., Canada, and NATO zones. What You Bring: 47 years in government procurement, aerospace compliance, or defense strategy. Hands-on experience with FAA, DIU, NRC, or NATO procurement systems. Deep familiarity with Blue UAS, OTA, SBIR, IRAP, or ISED programs. A proven knack for technical writing and grant proposals. Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen (dual citizenship is a bonus).
