As part of their continued growth, Lindsay Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee projects throughout New Brunswick. Reporting to the Regional Director, the Superintendent will play a vital leadership role in organizing, coordinating, and supervising worksite activities to successfully deliver construction projects on time, on budget, and with an unwavering focus on safety and client satisfaction. What youll be doing: Actively manage the day-to-day onsite operations of assigned projects. Plan and schedule ahead, organizing material deliveries and coordinating the work of onsite subcontractors. Maintain thorough and up-to-date daily logs, including site progress photos and documentation of key activities. Ensure strict compliance with site safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Foster strong, consistent communication with clients, providing timely updates and responses to inquiries. Provide onsite leadership and direction to the project team, tradespeople, and subcontractors. Collaborate closely with project managers, trades supervisors, and other departments to achieve project milestones. What we are looking for: Minimum of 5 years experience in a field supervisory role overseeing medium-sized commercial construction projects. Proven ability to manage onsite operations, including reading, interpreting, and implementing construction drawings and specifications. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with tradespeople, subcontractors, project teams, and clients. Experience in design-build, tilt-up, and wood framing projects is considered a strong asset. Journeymans certification in a skilled trade is an asset.
