As Southeast Regional Manager, you will be responsible for all or some of the following depending on facility:Providing leadership and general management oversight to recycling depots within your regionHiring, onboarding, supporting, coaching, and evaluating supervisory staffActing as a primary support for depot supervisors regarding operations, employee relations, and other areas as requiredEnsuring the accountability of depots and compliance with operational procedures for a safe and efficient workplace; this includes regular site visits to depots within your regionCompleting all required documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner; verifying depot records related to operations, controls, financial transactions, and bank and float reconciliationsMaintaining good customer and community relationsFostering and ensuring an inclusive, cohesive, and respectful work environmentParticipating in professional development and SARC/SARCAN working groups as appropriatePerforming other duties as assignedPlease note: This position requires frequent day travel throughout the Southeast region of Saskatchewan, occasional overnight travel within the Southeast region, and occasional travel to other regions within the province. This position offers flexibility to be based out of a community in Southeast Saskatchewan.What are the skills you must have to perform this role?To be successful as a Regional Manager at SARCAN, you will need:Minimum five years of related industry experience, most recently in a supervisory rolePost-secondary education is an assetDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels within an organization, as well as external partnersJudiciousness and political sensitivity when working amongst a diverse group of individuals and organizations is essentialExcellent organizational, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated proficiency using Microsoft 365; experience with Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint is an assetBe proactive, accountable and able to work independentlyCommitment to teamwork and meeting team goalsAbility to work effectively with and coach persons with all abilitiesFlexibility and the willingness to change priorities and deadlines as requiredEmpathy, a positive attitude, and sense of humour go a long wayValid class 5 drivers license and your own reliable vehicle is requiredMust provide a satisfactory criminal record check as a condition of employmentAre you interested in joining our team?SARC/SARCAN Recycling is committed to advancing a diverse and inclusive environment.
