This is a strategic role designed for an experienced estimator who can lead estimating processes, support junior team members, and contribute to project success from pre-construction through final bid submission.Key Responsibilities:Estimate costs and pricing for electrical projects and changesDevelop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clientsStrategize and communicate effectively with key stakeholdersManage the workloads of estimators on the teamReview estimates and provide detailed feedbackDraft proposals and submit tenders, ensuring compliance with specificationsPrepare and coordinate RFQs and gather competitive supplier pricingImprove and update labour and material requirements for bidsAnalyze practices and pricing to identify cost savings and efficienciesMentor and support junior estimatorsComplete accurate quantity take-offs and quotationsWhat You Need to Succeed:Electrical trade qualification (TQ), or AScT, E.I.T., or P.Eng status57 years of experience estimating medium to large-scale electrical construction projects ranging from $5M to $50M, including Mixed-Use Residential, Commercial, and Institutional developmentsStrong leadership and mentoring skillsSolid knowledge of electrical sub-trades and trade scopesProficient in reading electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDsFamiliar with industry regulations and bid depository standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office; Accubid experience is an assetAbility to build collaborative team relationshipsOrganized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritiesWhat You Will Receive:This is more than just a job; its a career opportunity with purpose and long-term potential.
