Our client is a long-standing construction management firm with over 40 years of experience delivering projects across Vancouver Island. They are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in Victoria, BC. This is a great opportunity to contribute to projects up to $90 million in value while being part of a collaborative and growing organization. Key Responsibilities:Lead the estimating process for construction projects across all stages, from conceptual design to tenderingPrepare detailed quantity take-offs, budgets, and cost breakdowns using updated unit rates and subcontractor quotesSupport project managers during preconstruction by reviewing bids, budgets, schedules, and trade scopesParticipate in weekly operations meetings to identify cost-related risks and opportunitiesContinuously improve the companys estimating processes and systems to support project deliveryContribute to value engineering reviews, change order assessments, and post-project cost reviews Ideal Candidate Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in ICI or mixed-use building projectsStrong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and drawings, including M&E systems coordinationProficiency with Microsoft Office and construction technology tools; experience with estimating software (e.g., Sage Estimating or Procore Estimating) is an assetDiploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferredExcellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills Why this Firm?Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsA stable company with over four decades of project delivery experienceExciting growth trajectory following a strategic acquisitionCollaborative and dynamic work culture with room for advancementOffice located in beautiful Victoria, BC Interested candidates are encouraged to send their resumes in Word document format to .
