A leading civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead the operations of three material production units in the greater Edmonton area. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for daily business operations, safety, and performance across:Asphalt Plants (Acheson and Leduc)Soil Cement Plant (Edmonton)Ready-Mix Concrete Plant (Acheson)Applicants must have experience with Asphalt and/or Concrete production /Ready Mix production in a supervisory or technical operations role.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety & EnvironmentResponsible for driving safety performance across Business Units by leading indicator safety metrics:Implementing and managing the HSE ProgramEnsuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policiesCollaborates with leadership and project teams to achieve HSE goalFosters a culture of accountabilityContinuously improves safety practices through guidance, feedbackLeading by examplePlant Operations ManagementTo support continuous production and meet business objectives:Develop and oversee production, maintenanceDeliver strategies to meet KPIsOptimize plant performanceEnsure efficient resource management.Manage daily operations:Quality controlInventoryCross-functional coordinationMaintenance ManagementTo ensure optimal equipment performance and facility upkeep.
