This includes applying business strategies and objectives to ensure that direct reports and functional teams are aligned to meet and exceed the goals and SLA's for both our MFDA and IIROC back office.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Managing, motivating, coaching and developing the Operations team, which includes instilling an attitude of owning the problem at all levels within the Operations departmentUnderstanding, translating, communicating, and applying business strategies and objectives, ensuring that direct reports and functional teams are aligned to overall strategy, objectives, and best practicesCreating a service first environment, focused on providing superior client experience to our advisors and partnersDeveloping and building strong productive working relationships with external and internal stakeholdersLeading and participating in executive level business and technology discussionsParticipating in corporate conferences and industry eventsSolving complex issues that are high impact to clients and working closely with managers and senior managers to ensure clear communication and handoff points to impacted departments and stakeholdersDeveloping and implementing Advisor/Branch efficiencies within the Worldsource networkAnalyzing the corporate structure and assisting in creating operational efficiencies within each area with the objective of reducing expensesManaging, planning and projecting the departmental budget to ensure that departmental and corporate objectives are metParticipating in corporate strategic planning and developing strategies to implement initiatives; andDeveloping and implementing Operations policies and procedures to facilitate the achievement of financial and operational objectivesJOB STATEMENT:The Senior Director, Operations is responsible for management, leadership, and development of the Operations team.
