This role is responsible for ensuring that Fidelity Canada is able to recover our critical systems and applications in the event of a disaster. This role also manages Fidelity's Change Management process utilizing ServiceNow. Holds weekly change review meetings to discuss changes and mitigate potential risks.What You Will DoThis role is primarily responsible for ensuring recoverability for all Fidelity Canada systems and applications in the DR environment. This includesWorking with the business and IS to ensure new applications are incorporated into the recovery program.Planning and coordinating the efforts of the IS Disaster Recovery team in testing the recoverability of critical systems at BCP/DR tests.Ensuring that Applications Recovery plans are created and tested for all critical applications.Coordinate with critical vendors and partners in executing DR tests.Coordinate communications and actions during the DR exercise.Document all issues and action items stemming from DR exercises and track through remediation.Produce test reports for both IS Operations teams and Senior Executives on test outcomes.Hold postmortem meetings with various IS Operational teams involved in recovery exercises.Identify process improvements based on latest recovery technologies and techniques.Participate in BCP/DR scenario and tabletop exercises.Additionally, this role is responsible for coordinating production change management approvals and overall data quality in Service Now. This includesAdministration of the day-to-day change management queue.Validation that change tickets are in good order based on Fidelity CM policy and guidelines.Act as main SME for change management policy and procedure for IS Staff.Conduct weekly Change Approval Board meetings to review upcoming changes and assess potential impact / risk.Support internal and external audits from a change management perspective.Report on and ServiceNow data quality and work with asset owners to maintain data quality standards.Work with asset owners and ISO to report on security and resiliency metrics via SNOW and Power BI dashboards.The Expertise You BringKnowledge of information risk theory and operational controls.Computer literacy in MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio.Solid understanding of Information Security, Disaster Recovery and Risk Management principles as well as implementation techniques.Strong knowledge of technical environments in which supported products including Windows, UNIX, Networking, Cloud Integration.Strong knowledge of Service Now and Power BI.Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.What We Are Looking For3 to 5 years experience in Disaster Recovery, preferably in the financial industry.University degree in computer science or related technical experience.Must have sound technical background.Having CBCP certification will be considered an Asset.Fidelity Canada is an equal opportunity employerFidelity Canada is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
