Our global teams deliver a reliable, optimum, and customized user experience to more than 500 customers worldwide.As a Solutions Architect at Navblue, you will collaborate with fellow architects, development teams, and other stakeholders to design resilient, feasible, and scalable solutions for our customers. You will also prioritize features that build out the architecture runway, and align with standards.To be successful in this role, you need to be a team player with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.Main Responsibilities :Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and other stakeholders to align the technical solution with the business requirementsResponsible for the solution architecture life-cycle activities i.e. requirements gathering, architecture design, architecture documentation, architecture evaluation, architecture evolution, etc.Create, maintain, and prioritize the enabler feature work in the program backlog and help development teams understand and break down the enabler features into user stories as neededProvide architecture guidance to development teamsCollaborate with other professionals to create / align / evolve development processes and standardsConduct / participate in non-functional requirement and architecture decision assessmentsQualifications :Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalentExperience :Minimum of 5 years of experience in software developmentMinimum qualifications / skills :Experience in software architecture / systems design and team leadershipExperience with software development / architecture on the cloudCollaborates effectively with others in a team environmentExperience with software design including design patterns, algorithms, the SOLID principles, and clean codeKnowledge of architecture design including architecture patterns and anti-patternsExperience with Agile methodology, and ideally (but not necessarily) Kanban and SAFePreferred qualifications / skills :Experience working on distributed systems, and microservicesExperience with systems integrationExperience working on data-driven applicationsKnowledge of software security standards and best practicesLocated in the heart of University of Waterloos David Johnston Research + Technology Park, NAVBLUE is close to shops, restaurants, gyms, daycare, and many other amenities, and only 10 minutes away from Hwy 85.
