If you have what it takes to be our Project Coordinator and this sounds like a perfect match, we would love to hear from you!Position Overview:The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the execution of restoration projects by organizing, directing, and managing various project activities under the supervision of a Project Manager (PM).Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and project appraisersDevelop and maintain project schedules and timelinesCoordinate and assign subcontractors within established budget parametersManage materials selection and ensure timely, accurate orderingMaintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to health and safety regulationsObtain necessary approvals for all subcontracted work and any change ordersIdentify, track, and resolve project deficienciesConduct site walk-throughs and secure final client sign-offEnsure project milestones and completion dates are metProvide regular updates to and support project managersSubmit weekly job status reports, highlighting progress, issues, and solutionsOversee the protection and handling of client belongings during restorationBe available to work evenings and weekends, including participation in an on-call rotation as requiredRequired Knowledge and Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction or restoration industryProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT) considered an assetSolid understanding of residential and commercial construction methods and applicable building codesProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced settingStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesA proactive approach and commitment to seeing projects through to completionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel occasionally as neededPossession of a valid G or G2 drivers licenseAODA StatementARS / Global Emergency Management encourages applications from all qualified individuals.
