One of Stellars enterprise resource clients is seeking a highly experienced Collaboration and Communication Consultant to lead and support the operation, stabilization, and modernization of their enterprise communication and collaboration platforms. In this hands-on and strategic contract role, you’ll help ensure business continuity across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and voice/telephony systems. Your deep technical knowledge, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration will play a critical role in platform reliability, user experience, and long-term digital transformation initiatives.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams (chat, meetings, voice), and SharePoint Online across hybrid environmentsManage hybrid Exchange configurations, PowerShell scripting, licensing, and identity integrations with Azure Active DirectoryProvide expert-level support for SharePoint Online, including site management, permissions, governance, retention policies, and content migrationOversee voice infrastructure including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM), Unity Connection, gateways, and Teams Phone/Direct RoutingCollaborate with internal teams, vendors, and MSPs to resolve complex issues, document system configurations, and contribute to platform roadmapsEnsure platform compliance with organizational security, retention, and regulatory requirements, especially in hybrid and federated environmentsQualifications10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on enterprise collaboration and communication platformsAdvanced expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, hybrid Exchange/AD, PowerShell automation, and Cisco UCM voice systemsDeep understanding of Teams Phone, Direct Routing, SIP trunking, and meeting room integrationsProven experience with compliance policies, data retention, and identity security across cloud and hybrid environmentsExcellent documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills for multi-system environmentsStrong ability to work both independently and within cross-functional technical and business teamsNice to HaveProficiency in Spanish.ITIL v4 certification or experience with formal service management frameworksBackground supporting IT in mining, industrial, or highly regulated environmentsFamiliarity with Microsoft Defender for M365, Compliance Center, and eDiscovery toolsExperience with MSP transitions, service onboarding, or post-transition stabilization projectsPay Rate: $75-100/hourPlease note that the posted salary range for this role may vary based on seniority, qualifications, or prior experience.
