Job Title: Surface Coating Specialist ''> The Thermal Sprayer is responsible for reading and understanding work orders, setting up and inspecting equipment, materials, and surfaces, and performing coating as required. Key responsibilities include: ''> - Quality Control : Ensure all coating meets customer specifications and quality guidelines by reading and understanding work orders. ''> - Equipment Operation : Set up and operate a variety of HVOF, Plasma, and TWA thermal spray equipment. ''> - Setup and Inspection : Set up and inspect equipment and materials for work to ensure requirements are met. ''> - Maintenance and Repairs : Maintain equipment, tools, and perform detailed repairs. ''> - Troubleshooting : Troubleshoot applications by setting up and running systems to establish parameters and validate equipment accuracy. ''> - Cleaning and Preparation : Clean and prepare surfaces for coating application. ''> - Safety and Compliance : Participate in company safety programs and use workplace PPE. ''> Applicants with technical training or post-secondary courses are preferred. Prior experience with thermal spray equipment is considered an asset but not necessary, as on-the-job training will be provided. Physical demands include the ability to lift 50 pounds and work occasional overtime and day or night shifts.
