Job Title: Medical Device Assembler - Instrumentation Specialist About the Role: A qualified individual is required to perform various aspects of product assembly and testing. Key responsibilities include visually inspecting, assembling, and testing cartridges or sub-assemblies using approved procedures. Salary Information: The pay rate for this position is $20/hour. Vacation pay of 4% is paid out on each weekly pay cheque, and medical and dental benefits are available once qualified. Key Responsibilities: - Visually inspect and assemble cartridges or sub-assemblies using approved procedures. - Follow all work instructions and record production information as required. - Use a computer to perform tests, download information, or record test data. - Work with a microscope for extended periods of time and use hand tools and equipment to assemble and test cartridges. - Comply with gowning protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work area. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Attention to detail and good communications skills (written and oral). - High school diploma or equivalent and experience working with Gas Chromatography (GC) Columns or microfluidics assembly an asset. - Experience in Electronic or Medical device assembly an asset.
