This Sales & Account Manager position is a critical role in the organization andoffers considerable opportunity for professional growth. Our products are soldnationally at Tier 1 retailers and independent specialty stores. This energetic multi-tasker will support existing sales and drive for new growth in a collaborativeenvironment within this small team.Key Responsibilities will include: Produce sales plan/ strategy for business and revenue growth; activelybroaden customer base Develop a thorough understanding of key clients' needs and requirementsand preparing customized solutions Research and tailor customer presentations of new products according totimelines and their business plans/ goals Determine product pricing and product development strategy with manager Handle customer escalations and close loop on outstanding issues tocustomers satisfaction Make periodic visits to retail outlets to ensure product is inline and displayedappropriately for the consumer Be well informed about relevant product categories (competitive productsand their pricing, new innovations, challenges for the industry, etc.) Negotiate contracts with key clients and meet established deadlines for thefulfillment of each client's long-term goals Assist with forecasting and manage sell thru process Provide regular sales reporting to manager and larger executive team Perform research through consumer feedback, customer views andopinions, and analysis of sales data to help develop overall marketing plan Arrange participation in and attend trade shows Research competitor products, pricing, marketing content, and strategies Provide valuable feedback to product manufactures for productimprovement as required Plan launch events for new products Analyze e-commerce sales data and provide feedback to external marketingfor support Actively update required product information on channel partner portals forexisting and new items Monitor and manage market on-line pricing/availability and adjust asnecessaryWhat would help you be successful in this role: 2-5 years experience in a sales role for consumer goods (diploma/ degree insales/marketing/business preferred) Experience B2B sales at Tier1 level with a passion to understand customerproblems and devise solutions to solve them Highly goal-oriented and proven success of achieving sales targets Deep understanding of sales methods and channels through which theproducts are marketed and ability to successfully analyze data to developplans for growth and success Possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills with thedemonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly andeffectively at all levels of the organization. Clear understanding of business basics product life cycle, revenueprojections, business metrics, and financial planning, etc. Must have own vehicle for occasional travel to customer locations or tradeevents Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Photoshop Experience in the sporting goods industry is a strong asset Experience in a Senior Retail with HQ interface role may be beneficial
