Logistics Manager Our client is a well established food manufacturer in Langley, BC. They are looking for a Logistics Manager to join them on a permanent full time basis. Role and Responsibilities: Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain operations Coordinate and monitor the entire order cycle, from procurement to delivery Manage transportation, warehouse, inventory, and distribution operations Analyze and optimize logistical procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers Track delivery times, transportation costs, and other key performance indicators Ensure compliance with safety regulations and customs requirements Supervise logistics staff and provide mentorship and training Troubleshoot and resolve problems that arise in the supply chain Manage logistics budgets and control expenses Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related areaStrong knowledge of logistics operations and supply chain management Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office applications Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities Effective communication and negotiation skills Experience with warehouse management systems and ERP software Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures Certification in logistics or supply chain management (CSCP, CLTD, etc.), preferred Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives, preferred Familiarity with lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies, preferred
