Position: Sr Director, Premium Sales & ServiceDepartment: Ticket & Premium Sales & ServiceReports to: VP, Ticket & Premium Sales & ServicePosition SummaryThe Sr Director, Premium Sales & Service for Canucks Sports & Entertainment will be a big dreamer with a broad vision who enjoys creating a growth-oriented team focused on revenue maximization. This role leads the development and implementation of strategic plans for the sales and service of suites, ticketed clubs, and experiences at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, including new product innovation.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesExceed annual revenue target and delivers recurring revenue growthWork with the VP of Ticketing & CRO to build a strategic plan to maximize revenue from premium sales for the Vancouver Canucks (NHL), Vancouver Warriors (NLL), and live events at Rogers Arena, including designing new Premium products, pricing, and product optimization, creating a high-energy sales culture, and developing the Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE) sales, experience, and retention strategiesImplement proactive outbound approach amongst the Premium Sales team to foster new business development leads and build a pipeline for future premium expansion at Rogers ArenaLead premium experience innovation, launching new products such as multiple brand-new club spaces located on the 200 Level and 400 level of Rogers ArenaDevelop pricing and packaging for suite leases, rentals, and all Rogers Arena clubsPartner with Marketing team to create best-in-class materials to showcase the unique hosting opportunities available through CSEWork with Sr. Managers to execute and measure sales/renewal plans for all clubs and suitesWork with Sr. Manager/Team Lead, Premium Experience to develop and implement service initiativesIdentify new team members and lead training and development efforts; create learning curriculum for all premium team members in Vancouver and AbbotsfordContinue to build on existing relationships and develop new prospect relationshipsAssist the team with growing key premium accounts into ticket products, partnership opportunities (for businesses), and other CSE or Aquilini Group opportunitiesMonitor all hockey, lacrosse, and live entertainment suite availability daily, regularly report sales results and forecasts to CSE leadershipWork closely with CSE executive team and ownership on initiatives that affect the budget and strategic objectives of the organizationActively monitor all elements of the sports, entertainment, leisure, and service industries for inspiration from best practices that can be utilized in our businessRequired Experience And QualificationsAt least 5 to 7 years' experience in premium product sales, preferably in sportsExperience leading a team, including hiring and training/developmentPolished presentation skills, with an ability to think and react to situations confidentlyExcellent relationship building and communication skillsCreative and innovative team player with cooperative attitudeA go-getter personality, with drive and initiative to succeedAssertive, persistent, and results-orientedAbility to adapt and re-prioritize based on sales needsA proven dedication to outstanding client serviceStrong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Superior attention to detail and strong organizational and administrative skillsExcited to work extended hours, including evenings and weekendsVancouver is one of the most diverse cities in the world and Canucks Sports & Entertainment strives to create a workforce that is inclusive, equitable, and represents our beautiful, unique community.
