About the Opportunity The Stewardship & Donor Experience team develops and implements strategy to ensure donor acquisition and retention to UJA. Reporting to the Senior Director, Stewardship & Donor Experience, were seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Manager, Stewardship & Donor Experience to help manage the strategy and operational tasks necessary to engage and steward our donors, ensuring a meaningful experience at every stage. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, data management, and communication skills to help grow our donor stewardship efforts and contribute to UJA''s overall mission. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Compile and send a list of Top Gifts donations secured every week, ensuring these donors are thanked by Campaign Chairs and the President & CEO. Daily maintenance of thank you acknowledgements from pledge reports of thank you letters required for donors from Senior Leadership. Use and maintain existing tracking system for use by executive office teams to mail out letters. Daily maintenance of thank you acknowledgements from pledge reports for donors from MG Chairs. Formatting, sorting, consulting with Development Managers (DMs), creating the list of thank yous prepared for mailing. Mailing out letters Stewardship Content Development: Work closely with the fundraising and communications teams to develop donor stewardship materials. Proactively coordinate all requirements to fulfill stewardship newsletters, including content creation, research on impact statistics and stories, and upkeep of information as needed. Ensure that all donor-related materials are timely and personalized. Salesforce Reports and Lists: Build and prepare Salesforce reports and lists for all team members based on their needs. Help ensure smooth operation and coordination between Salesforce and the integrated fundraising PLG team. Matrix Management: Maintain the Matrix (both detailed and summarized versions). Assist in tracking team success and provide updated versions of the matric quarterly. Weekly & Quarterly Reports: Produce detailed and summarized reports (including an ''amazing one-pager'') for VP to share with the Integrated team. Share weekly reports with Director and VP highlighting key developments. Use weekly reports for Chairs, boards, select lay leadership, and in weekly team meetings Management of Salesforce Requirements: Act as a liaison and subject matter expert between the PLG Fundraising team and Salesforce, working collaboratively on operational solutions. Analyze lists with PLG Director of Operations to write and deliver pre- and post-event fundraising opportunities. Help prioritize Salesforce requirements and projects to meet the fundraising team''s Qualifications: Post-secondary degree in nonprofit management, fundraising, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of relevant work experience in fundraising, donor relations, or stewardship, preferably within the non-profit sector. Strong knowledge of donor stewardship principles and best practices. Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce, and other CRM systems; knowledge of fundraising platforms and reporting tools is a plus. Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and motivate team members. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building and donor care. Creative, enthusiastic, and innovative with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling donor information. Knowledge of the Toronto Jewish community and its philanthropic landscape is an asset. Valid Ontario drivers license and access to a vehicle is not required, but would be a valuable asset. *This is a full-time 13-month contract position, .
