About the Role: The position of Director Standards Guidance and Research is available within a reputable accounting firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and updating guidance materials, whitepapers, best practice documents, as well as providing clear and concise interpretations of assurance and accounting standards and regulations. This involves leading and managing comprehensive research initiatives on emerging issues and trends. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in auditing and assurance at a senior level or above, with a strong background in standards setting and policy development. Key responsibilities include conducting research to inform members and provide guidance on complex challenges, leading the creation and revision of guidance materials, engaging with stakeholders and regulatory bodies, and developing training programs and educational content. A University Degree, CPA Designation, and minimum overall experience of 8-10 years are required. Additionally, experience in team management, collaboration, and influencing policy development is highly valued.
