About the Opportunity? This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the accounting, compliance and tax strategy of investments. The ideal candidate will have experience with private equity, fund accounting and public accounting. Strong financial modeling skills are required. Direct the accounting functions of investment divisions and associated entities. Oversee the accurate and timely recording of all investment-related transactions. Prepare and maintain comprehensive monthly investment tracking and reporting packages. Monitor cash positions across various brokerage accounts and lines of credit. Manage all aspects of tax compliance, reporting and planning for the investment portfolio. Assist with the month-end close process and preparation/review of financial statements for multiple corporate entities. Support corporate tax compliance by preparing or reviewing tax filings and returns for applicable entities. Act as the primary point of contact for external accountants. Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group. About You? The ideal candidate should have: Bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance or a related field. CPA or equivalent designation preferred; CFA (or in progress) is an asset. Minimum 5 years'' experience in private equity, fund accounting and public accounting. Strong financial modeling experience. Salary Range? $110,000 - $130,000/year. Individuals may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
