Volunteer Opportunity This placement is located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. About the Placement The volunteer will work with a local organization to strengthen its environmental efforts. Key Responsibilities Evaluate current environmental situation and create an action plan to address it Design and implement local environmental initiatives Support policy dialogue on environmental issues Requirements University degree in International Development, Environmental Sciences or Social Justice Master''s degree in Environmental Sciences Minimum 2 years of experience in design and implementation, monitoring and evaluation Knowledge of current climate change context What We Offer A modest living allowance, accommodation, medical insurance, airfare, pre-placement training, and reintegration debriefing. You will also have access to Employee Assistance Program while in placement and upon return. A bonus will be provided after 12 months of service for those extending their placement by another 6 months.
