Our CASL Surface Technologies division is a corrosion and wear solutions provider with over 25 years of experience, and we are looking to add to our growing team at our Nisku Facility!The Opportunity:The Polisher is part of our chrome plating team and is primarily responsible for prepping and finishing components to customer or internal specifications.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Reading and interpreting job specifications, blueprints, and schematics.Frequent use of measurement tools.Hoisting, loading, and securing components into polishing lathes.Operation of polishing lathes to achieve required prep and finish dimensions specified in scope of work documents. Precision up to 0.0005”.Use of tools such as hand grinder, crankshaft polisher, dot welder, die grinder and other hand tool safely and proficiently.Parts movement on the shop floor.Other requirements are:Strong attention to detail.Applicants with technical training preferred.Working knowledge of lathes, hand grinders, crankshaft polishers.Able to lift 50 lbs.Available to work occasional overtime and day or night shift as required.
