Microsoft Purview Data Catalog Portal Analyst - Metadata Tagging and Analysis Location: Canada - Toronto, London, Winnipeg Job Title: Systems Analyst - Intermediate Mandatory Skills: Purview experienced resources with a focus on Metadata tagging and analysis. Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3 days/week in office Number of Openings: 1 Key Responsibilities: Understand data governance principles. Demonstrate attention to detail. Handle ambiguous information. Analyze and solve problems. Conduct metadata analysis and tagging. Utilize Microsoft products including Excel, Purview, and minimal SQL coding via Databricks to assist with developing regular expressions. Utilize Collibra or other data governance toolsets. Communicate technical details to business users. Monitor and test functionalities and environments. Work with the team to create a Proof of Concept (POC) that aligns with the metadata strategy, establishing the cataloging/business glossary, tagging, and metadata necessary to meet standards by collaborating with business stakeholders. Cataloging activities include reviewing applied classifications to a data element within Purview Data Catalog.
