We require an experienced Pediatric Dentist to join our team for short-term assignments in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Salary Range: TBD (FEE-BASED, $10k-$15k/day) Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive dental examination and assessments for children. Diagnose and treat dental diseases, injuries, and malformations in children as soon as possible, and provide same-day treatments. Perform preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants. Utilize Dexis dental software for efficient patient management and record-keeping. Collaborate with dental hygienists and dental assistants to ensure streamlined patient care. Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and regular check-ups to enhance oral health. Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs. Stay abreast of advancements in dental technologies and procedures. Provide same-day treatments. 3-7 day assignments in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Travel, housing, and meal allowance provided. Competitive compensation package. Licensure and Certification Requirements: Valid practice license from your regulatory body and malpractice insurance. Current CPR/BLS certification. Letter of good standing with The Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (CAPD/ACDP). Graduate of an accredited Pediatric dentistry residency program. Criminal Record Check.
