Location Chennai, India (Remote) Salary/Fee $1,500 - $3,000+ USD/month Reports to Head of PHP The Opportunity Were seeking a Senior Drupal Developer to complement and bolster our current team of talented developers. As part of the role, you will be architecting solutions, leading projects, working with our Technical Solutions Team, contributing to our proposals, and helping to win new clients with your problem-solving and ideas. If you feel you have the ability to break down technical ideas into layman''s terms, you will also have the opportunity to support our Strategy Team with new business pitches. You will get to explore new technology and influence our ways of working within our collaborative environment. Were particularly keen to re-establish links back into the Drupal community and were looking for a candidate who shares this passion and enthusiasm. This role will be the first Senior Drupal Developer role in the region, initially stand-alone, supported by the wider Development Team. It is an exciting time to join us as we grow our global presence beyond our current locations in Hong Kong, USA, Europe (Germany and Portugal), and the UK. About you In recent times, weve won several new client projects. Forearmed with a great deal of experience in architecting and shaping solid performant Drupal builds, your role as a Senior Developer will be to support and lead on these projects, owning the solution and delivering an exceptional end-product that were all proud to put our names to, and the client is equally delighted with. Project leadership, self-motivation, and collaboration will be essential skills. As we grow the regional team, there will be the opportunity to mentor junior members. Skills, knowledge and experience Multiple years of professional development in Drupal, including: Architecting and building complex enterprise-scale Drupal websites Configuration Management Object Oriented Programming A good understanding of Drupals API, Custom module and theme development API Integrations (REST/SOAP) A keen eye for security and performance Working with Git + follow a branching methodology Nice to have: Apache / Nginx configuration Knowledge of Cloudflare or other CDN providers Knowledge of and application to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Javascript / jQuery Continuous Integration (Bitbucket Pipelines, Github Actions) Automated Testing (Unit testing, Behat, Cypress) Docker Exposure to SEO best practices You dont need to tick all the boxes to be considered, so please do still apply if you have most of what were looking for.
