Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator This is a challenging role for an individual who thrives in fast-paced logistics environments. The Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the timely movement of products to meet contractual commitments and client needs. The role involves performing systems and carrier tracking, customs coordination, confirmations, and related activities for the movement of products. Daily activities include file creation, in-transit report creating, disbursements and usage, etc. Key Responsibilities: Manage Priorities : Ensure that shipping volumes are met while maintaining high levels of productivity. Customer Service : Ensure that customer orders are delivered on time and in full as per service level agreements. Scheduling and Documentation : Provide shipping department with schedules and documentation for next day loading. Delivery Verification : Verify completion of applicable delivery documentation and confirm deliveries have been made. Liaison Role : Act as liaison between logistics and program management, communicating daily with carriers, freight forwarders and clients in coordinating pick-up and delivery of shipments when required. Product Flow Management : Coordinate the activities of product flow from receiving, warehouse, assembly, and shipping on a timely and accurate basis, reporting on issues and taking corrective action where required. Quality Assurance : Comply with the organization''s environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards. Reporting and Analysis : Prepare reports, metrics and analysis with the use of functions on MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) for distribution within the organization. File Maintenance : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of invoices, waybills, international shipment, storage, daily shipment, inventory and monthly shipping lists. Expediting and Tracing : Expedite, trace and obtain verification of shipment delivery, audit inbound and outbound freight bills, file carrier damage claims and update carrier contract information. Ongoing Development : Perform any other duties as required to contribute to the success of the team. Requirements: Education : Completion of college courses in Logistics or Distribution is an asset. Experience : Minimum two years of experience in Logistics/Warehousing. Logistics Knowledge : Strong knowledge of Logistics and transportation. Attention to Detail : Have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and organize work. Communication Skills : Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with clients and internal staff. Technical Skills : Proficient with Microsoft Office.
