This key leadership role will be based at our Business Support Centre in Red Deer, Alberta.Your RoleReporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Operations will lead operations strategically across our business to consumer divisions, including Agro, Bulk Petroleum, Home and Farm Centres.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute innovative business strategies to optimize processes, elevate performance, and drive profitability across retail operations.Provide visionary leadership in alignment with corporate direction, strategic goals, and operational plans.Develop, implement and direct retail policies approved by the Board of Directors to store-level management, and ensure compliance.Analyze insights from sales, inventory, and financial data to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.Prepare and present monthly operational reports to the Board of Directors.Champion a culture of service excellence by inspiring teams to exceed customer expectations and exemplify our Co-op brand values in every interaction.Collaborate cross-divisionally to implement and uphold our Customer Experience program.What You Bring15+ years of progressive experience, with at least 8 years in leadership roles managing teams or departments with senior leadership experience.Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams and leaders.
