SUMMARY: Assist the Front Store Manager (FSM) in managing the human, physical, and financial resources of the store, focusing on improving product flow from the backroom to the sales floor to achieve store objectives. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: OPERATIONS: Maintain Store Standards to optimize customer experience, drive traffic, and impact profitability. Work with Management Team to ensure Store Standards are consistently met, including in the backroom. Assist in managing labour scheduling with the FSM, leveraging Workforce Management (WFM) to maximize productivity. Ensure staffing levels are adequate for effective store operation. HUMAN RESOURCES: Comply with Human Resources Standards. Assist with hiring in collaboration with the FSM, supporting hiring across departments excluding Pharmacy. Maintain wage administration within SLPH guidelines. Promote Blue Culture, engagement, and motivate staff through core values. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills. Experience in inventory management and expense control. Effective leadership, mentorship, and staff development abilities. Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills. EXPERIENCE: Previous retail management experience. Ability to lead by example and support corporate programs. Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills. Business and financial acumen.
